How Can You Help?

For ‘Going Home' to be able to continue rescuing, caring for and re homing horses at risk, we rely on donations to help us keep up the valuable work we carry out.

We therefore ask if you could please spare some pennies (no matter how modest or generous it all helps!)....... For example;

• Just £3 would buy a bale of hay which will be enough to feed one rescue pony for a whole week in winter!

• Or £10 would buy a dose of wormer for a rescue horse who was carrying a high worm burden

• Or £25 would buy a cosy waterproof rug to keep a rescue horse or pony dry and warm through the winter.


Send tack, treats or other goodies

If you would like to send any of our rescue ponies some treats, they love polo’s, horse bix and all carrot, apple and mint treats!

They also really appreciate having headcollars, lead ropes, rugs, bandages, boots etc.... pretty much anything you can donate would be great.... You name it, they need it!

You can either send them us by post, click on the donate button which will pay for some foodie treats and gifts on your behalf! Or you come to the rescue yard to give them yourself... We’re planning open days in 2011.

 We can only keep taking in new horses for assessment and rehab if others are re-homed on loan! Please keep looking at out Horses for Rehoming page!

Company sponsorship

Why not sponsor a particular rescue and make them your company horse? Don’t worry – you don’t have to keep the horse yourself, but you can make a one off payment of £300 or set up a Direct Debit for £30 a month and we’ll find a suitable horse for you to sponsor. You can track their rehab and schooling and keep in touch with thie new life with their adopted home.
